A man who shot at police in Mountain Home in March of 2021 was in court in Baxter County and a date was set for a state-sponsored mental examination. 41-year-old Kevin Donovan of Adrian Missouri will be examined on September 1st. The family of Donavan has also arranged to have a private examination later in September. Donovan is currently an inmate in the Baxter County Detention Center with a bond set at $1,000,000. Donovan faces five counts of criminal attempts to commit capital murder, resisting arrest, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
