A man from Cabool has been arrested in Douglas County. According to reports, 34 -year-old Richard Christian was arrested after he allegedly wrecked a vehicle then broke into a residence, and tried to steal another car. The homeowner apprehended Christian and was holding him at gunpoint when deputies arrived. Christian has been arrested on charges of 1st Degree Burglary, Driving While Intoxicated, and Operating a Motor Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner. He was on probation and parole on criminal charges including 14 counts of burglary, 19 counts of theft, 5 drug-related charges, 5 charges of property damage, and 1 previous DWI.
