A man from Hartshorn was injured when he was hit by a pickup as he walked behind an animal-drawn vehicle. 25-year-old Alvin Shetler suffered serious injuries when a pickup driven by a 16-year-old boy hit him as he walked behind the vehicle. Shetler was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway KK, seven miles north of Summersville.
