
One person was injured after a high-speed chase and an accident in Sharp and Lawrence County. Police received a call that there was a vehicle driving recklessly and fast. Authorities responded and a police vehicle was passed by the suspect at a speed of 115 mph. Police in Walnut Ridge and Hoxie was notified and radar captured the vehicle going 130 mph as it approached the highway 367 intersection in Hoxie. Hoxie police then clocked it going 150 mph. A two-vehicle accident was then reported in Sedgewick involving the vehicle. The driver was uninjured and arrested but one person in the second vehicle was injured. The names of the suspect and the injured person have not been released at this time. The accident is being investigated by the ASP.
