Friday morning Around 9:00, officers of the West Plains Police Department responded to a Suspicious Circumstances call at 705 Kentucky Avenue also known as 10 Box. After the officers arrived, they located a package next to the building and due to the circumstances and camera video of the event, evacuated the building and contacted a specialist squad to deal with the package. The package was later detonated by the specialist squad, but no explosives were found. The store has been reopened along with the roadways. The investigation is still ongoing.
