
A Batesville man was arrested after a police pursuit. 52-year-old John Arnold fled from police on a motorcycle. Arnold had active arrest warrants. Arnold was caught when a deputy’s vehicle collided with the motorcycle. He was arrested at gunpoint and taken to White River Medical Center to be checked for injuries. Police allegedly found 8 baggies of a substance that tested positive for meth and one baggie of marijuana. Arnold was charged with felony possession of meth, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana along with 5 traffic violations.
