A judge rules the confession of a man accused of murder can be used in court

Last week, Judge Tim Weaver ruled that a confession given by William Miller in the murder of Rebekah Gould can be used against him. Miller’s attorneys had argued that his Miranda rights were not fully verbalized before the confession.  Miller of Cottage Grove Oregon had confessed to killing Gould who was visiting Guion in Izard County. The murder took place in September of 2004. Miller allegedly dumped Gould’s Body along Highway 9 southwest of Melbourne.
