An inmate at the South Central Correctional Facility in Licking died Wednesday. 27-year-old Kaleb Smith was serving a 10-year sentence for burglary and two 4-year sentences for stealing and forgery from Taney County and a 5-year sentence for possession of a controlled substance in Christian County and a 3-year sentence for unlawful possession of a firearm in St Louis County. He was found around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning and taken to the Texas County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
