A Texas County man was injured in an accident Friday afternoon east of Houston. The Highway Patrol reports that 42-year-old Michael Morgan of Elk Creek suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit pipe fencing. He was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 8, four miles east of Houston.
