A man from Licking was injured in an accident early Sunday morning south of Ava. The Highway Patrol reports that 46-year-old Buddy Brazier suffered moderate injuries when a 16-year-old juvenile was hauling another vehicle and drove off the road and hit several trees then overturned the pickup he was driving. The accident happened on Highway 5, two miles south of Ava. Brazier was taken to Cox South in Springfield.
