A Horseshoe Bend couple has been arrested after a domestic disturbance that involved shots being fired. 27-year-old Jessica Moore and 38-year-old Steven Napier got into an argument and both fire shots and damages their vehicles. Moore told authorities that Napier had hit her and she knocked over Napier’s motorcycle Napier got a baseball bat and began hitting Moore’s Van. Napier then allegedly got a gun and so she got a gun. The two struggled over the guns and they were discharged. They said that they did not point the guns at each other. Moore got Napier’s gun and ran into the house and called the Sheriff’s Department. Napier then broke into the house with the bat. Four children were in the home at the time of the incident. Both Moore and Napier had minor injuries. Both have been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, one count of aggravated assault on a family or household member, and domestic battering. Both were taken to the Izard County jail.
