The Independence County Sheriff’s department is still investigating another stabbing that took place early in the week. According to the Sheriff’s Department, 37-year-old Ernesto Trevino of Newark was stabbed Sunday while riding in a vehicle south of Cave City. Trevino was taken to White River Medical Center. Trevino was allegedly riding in the front seat a person in the back seat pulled out a knife and started stabbing him. There were four men in the vehicle but according to reports, the four are not cooperating with authorities. The Investigation continues.
