An Ozark County woman was sentenced to 4 years in prison for abandoning a corpse. Rebecca Rudd who was found not guilty of the murder of her daughter Savannah Leckie and guilty of abandoning her corpse was in court this week and was sentenced to 4 years for abandoning a corpse with time served at nearly 1,800 days. The state dismissed all charges against Robert Peat, Jr., Ruud’s estranged husband.
