Three Lawrence County firefighters were treated for heat and smoke inhalation after an early morning fire in Sedgwick. Chief Heath Ring reported the Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department was called to a commercial building located at 35 Main Street in Sedgwick. Chief Ring says two firefighters were taken to hospitals in Jonesboro and one went to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The Arkansas State Police has been contacted to investigate the cause and origin of the early morning fire.
