The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department reports a couple of arrests on drug charges. Deputy Lane observed a male looking around vehicles in the parking lot of Dollar General in Gainesville. The Deputy made contact with the male and observed symptoms indicative of being under the influence of narcotics. The male was acting strange and stated he was looking for his vehicle key. The Deputy offered his assistance and while searching for the keys, he located a small bag containing meth in his backpack. Tyler Hogan was arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance.
Then Ozark County Deputy Lane and Lieutenant Rhoades conducted a check of a suspicious vehicle on County Road 803. The owner of the vehicle exhibited symptoms of being under the influence of drugs. During a search of the vehicle, Deputy Lane located drugs and paraphernalia. Paul Chavez was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamines and paraphernalia.
