On Tuesday, Howell County deputies responded to a residence on West Thornburg Street in West Plains for a warrant service attempt on Rodney A. Fox. Upon the arrival of the Deputies, Mr. Fox was observed fleeing on foot from the residence. Deputies gave chase and a short foot pursuit ensued. While pursuing Mr. Fox on foot, they saw Mr. Fox discarding items from his person. After a short foot pursuit, Mr. Fox was apprehended by Howell County Deputies. Deputies conducted an area search for items discarded by Mr. Fox. Several items discarded by Mr. Fox were located and collected as evidence. Mr. Fox was transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center for multiple felony arrest warrants, and additional are pending for Resisting Arrest, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
