Saturday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 47-year-old Nicole Hershberger suffered moderate injuries and 48-year-old Matthew Hershberger suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Christopher Farrell of Springfield, crossed the center line and struck the vehicle driven by Matthew Hershberger, Hershberger’s vehicle then hit a guardrail. Farrell’s vehicle traveled off the road and overturned. A third vehicle was hit by debris. The Hershberger’s were taken to Baxter Health in Mountain Home. The accident happened on Highway 5, six miles north of Ava.
