The Howell County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a West Plains man after a short foot pursuit. Last Friday a traffic stop was initiated on a motorcycle near Pottersville. Jason Ledbetter was identified as the driver and he ran from police on foot but was soon apprehended. Ledbetter was found to have a handgun and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Howell County Adult Detention Center where he was booked for active arrest warrants for Non-Support and Driving While Revoked/Suspended, additional charges are pending for Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
