The Howell County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man on stealing and drug charges. Billy Greer was arrested for allegedly stealing a catalytic converter and battery in September. Greer was stopped east of Willow Springs and after a search of his vehicle found approximately twelve grams of white crystal substance in the front passenger floorboard of the vehicle. The substance was seized and placed into evidence. Greer was taken to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, and following an interview, was booked for stealing and possession of a controlled substance – except 35 grams or less of Marijuana.
