39-year-old Brendan Price suffered serious injuries when he ran off the roadway, went airborne, and hit the ground. Price was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He is also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, meth, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. The accident happened on farm road 51 at Missouri 174, two miles west of Republic.
