A man and woman from Pottersville have been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $200,000 from an elderly woman. 64-year-old Jeffery Profitt and 54-year-old Juanita Profitt are charged with financial exploitation of an elder/disabled person and stealing. The two allegedly took the money from July 2019 through August 2021 from Jeffery Profitt’s mother, Carolyn Profitt. A total of $204,273.35 was taken. Both Jeffery and Juanita Profitt have been released on a $25,000 bond. They will be in court on November 7th.
