A strong thunderstorm moved through southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas Friday night causing widespread power outages and there were also some reports of damage done. A couple of businesses in the Mountain Home area were damaged including the Servpro building on Highway 5 and Don’s Welding service building. There were also several reports of trees being blown down in northern Arkansas.
