Today is Election Day in Missouri and Arkansas and there are several hotly contested races and issues to be decided. Yesterday we looked at the state-wide issues and a few local issues. Today we look at some of the local contested races we will be watching closely. In Howell County voters will decide on a Collector of Revenue, the candidates are Mark Collins and Janet Crowe. They will also vote on a Clerk of the circuit court and the candidates are Cynthia Lee and Shanna Earls. In Shannon County voters will pick a Presiding Commissioner, the candidates are Beth Stewart Long and Jeff Cowan. Texas County voters will also vote on Presiding Commissioner, the candidates are Scott Long and Lee Kern. In Fulton County Voters decide on a Sheriff, the Candidates are Dallas Montgomery and Jake Smith. That is just a few of the many races and issues to be decided and excise your right to vote today.
