Two Howell County residents were injured in an accident west of West Plains Monday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 59-year-old Marilyn Heady of Mountain View and 69-year-old Becky Hansen of West Plains, both suffered moderate injuries when the vehicle that Hansen was driving turned into the path of the vehicle that Heady was driving. Both Heady and Hansen were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The accident happened just before noon on Highway K, two miles west of West Plains.
