
Tuesday was midterm Election day in Arkansas and Missouri with several state and local races and issues to be decided.
In Arkansas
Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was elected Governor receiving 63% of the vote. John Boozman was elected U.S Senator with 65% of the vote, Arkansas attorney General Leslie Rutledge was elected LT Governor with 61% of the vote, John Thurston was elected Secretary of State with 67% of the vote, Tim Griffin was elected Attorney General with 67% of the vote, Rick Crawford was re-elected U.S Rep. District 1 with 74% of the vote, and Dennis Milligan was elected Auditor with 66% of the vote. Voters rejected Issue 4 to legalize Marijuana with 565 saying no, the vote on issue 3 for religious freedom was close with 437,537 saying yes and 430,129 saying no. the other issues on the ballot all failed
In Missouri
The race for U.S. Senator was won by Eric Schmidt with 55% of the vote, Scott Fitzpatrick was elected MO Auditor with 59% of the vote, Jason Smith was re-elected to the U.S House district 8 with 76% of the vote, Bennie Cook won Mo State House District 143 with 85% of the Vote. Missouri voters voted to legalize marijuana with 53% saying yes, they also said yes to police funding amendment 1 with 54% saying yes, and yes to amendment 5 for the National Guard with 60% saying yes. The other issues all failed.

In Ozark County voters passed a sales tax for Law Enforcement
In Howell County voters elected, Cynthia Lee as Circuit Clerk with 9,381 votes, Shanna Earls had 3,436 and they elected Janet Crowe as County Collector with 7,340 votes to Mark Collins with 5,731
In Fulton County voters elected Jacob Jake Smith as Sheriff with 3,175 votes to Dallas Montgomery’s 753, and Kenneth Crowe won the County Judges race with 2,909 votes to Tom Doty’s 1,043. In Mammoth Spring Danny Busch was elected Mayor with 219 votes to m. June Grant’s 53, for Mammoth Spring Alderman ward 1 position 1 Robert Bennet defeated Charles Vaughn 170-90 and ward 2 position 1, Barry O’Dell defeated Rot Dan Grant 167-84
In Sharp County voters elected Mark Counts as Judge 4,293 to 1,681 for Jeremy Langston. Voters also voted for Steven Rose as mayor of Cherokee Village 897 to 426 for Rob Smith. Sharp County voters said no to a milage for a new high school at Highland 2,290 to 1,357, no to a milage for Mammoth Spring School 286 to 107, and no to a milage increase at Cave City School 1,072 to 618.
In Texas County voters chose Scott Long as Presiding Commissioner with 6,800 votes to Lee Kern’s 1,300 votes.
In Lawrence County, Arkansas voters elected Tony Waldrupe as Sheriff with 2,496 votes to 2,122 for Richy Thatcher.
In Randolph County, Sheriff Kevin Bell was re-elected 4,595 votes to 709 for Jason Bradley Cummins
