A Glencoe Arkansas couple was injured in an accident north of Batesville Wednesday. 57-year-old Glen Smithson and his wife Paula Smithson were both injured when a truck driven by 21-year-old Paul Crisler of Batesville passed their truck and then cut back into the path of the truck that Smithson was driving. Both Glen and Paula Smithson were taken to White River Medical Center in Batesville. The accident happened on highway 167 about five miles north of Batesville.
