
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— Ricky Council scored 15 points and No. 10 Arkansas overcame a slow start to beat Fordham 74-48 on Friday night.
Jordan Walsh added 12 and Anthony Black had 10 for the Razorbacks (2-0), who took control with a 26-4 run in the middle of the first half.
Arkansas outscored the Rams 54-20 in the paint, but the Razorbacks made just 2 of 16 3-pointers.
Arkansas will host defending Summit League champion South Dakota State on Wednesday.
COLUMBIA, Mo. — — Noah Carter had six of Missouri’s 16 3-pointers and scored 28 points to lead the Tigers to a 92-85 win over Penn on Friday night.
The Tigers will host Lindenwood Sunday afternoon.
The Missouri State West Plains Grizzlies lost to Southeastern Community College Friday 79-69. The Grizzlies were led by Aiden Gair with 18 points and Kyle Germany with 10 points. The Grizzlies fall to 3-and-2 on the season and will play Marshalltown Community College this afternoon in Poplar Bluff.
