The Mammoth Spring Bears and Lady Bears both played in the Highland Classic on Monday.
The Bears played Harrison and lost a close one 61-58. The Goblins hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to get the win. The Bears were led by Gavin Boddie with 22 points, three other players scored in double figures for MS, Andrew Jones had 11, and Braden Cray and Nathaniel Rogers had 10 each.
The Lady Bears get a hard-fought victory 51-48 over the Mountain Home Lady Bombers. Brynn Washam led MS with 22 points, Sarah Crowe added 13, and Adrianna Corbitt had 10.
