Wednesday the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department arrested 39-year-old Jeremiah Evans of Ava after they were called to a dispute on Highway 5 south. Evans was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances methamphetamine and Unlawful Use of Weapons, and for possessing methamphetamine and a firearm.
