The Highway Patrol reports the 11-year-old Cabool girl was injured when a truck driven by 35-year-old Matthew Cole of Cabool stopped to make a turn and was hit in the rear by a car driven by 38-year-old Joshua Whipley of Willow Springs. The young girl was a passenger in the truck that Cole was driving. The accident happened on U.S 63, two miles north of Cabool. The juvenile was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
