49-year-old Richard Burkett allegedly was arguing with a man and brandished a gun, pointed at him, and pulled the trigger. The man told authorities that Burkett acted like the gun had jammed or misfired. The owner of the store then allegedly pulled a gun and told Burkett to leave or be shot. Burkett is charged with felony first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
