Gabriel Ruiz was involved in a car crash in October of 2021 that killed another person. Ruiz had previous felony charges in California and had a handgun in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Ruiz is charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter and unlawful possession of a firearm.
