26 year old Brandon Jesse Robinson allegedly hit another man on Harrison Street in Batesville around 4 pm on January 3rd. The victim was taken to White River Medical Center. Robinson allegedly told authorities when interviewed that he was on his way to pick up his daughter when he hit something but thought it was a mailbox. Robinson was charged with felony “requirements in accidents involving death or personal injuries/duty to give information, remain at the scene of an accident, and render aid,”, and with misdemeanor third-degree battery.
