42-year-old Curt Michael Boyd allegedly hit his father in the head several times with a metal walking cane. The father was taken to Baxter Health for treatment of his injuries. Boyd was released from the Baxter County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond and was ordered no contact. He will be in court in July.
