Chiefs, Bengals, Eagles and 49ers all win in the NFL Playoffs over the weekend

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hobbling along on an injured ankle, Patrick Mahomes threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns Saturday night, leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a 27-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars and a spot in their fifth straight AFC title game.

Travis Kelce had a career-high 14 catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns for Kansas City. Isiah Pacheco ran for 95 yards, while Marquez Valdes-Scantling hauled in the eventual clinching touchdown with about 7 minutes left in the game.

The MRI confirmed that Mahomes — who completed 22 of 30 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns — suffered a high ankle sprain during Saturday’s game.

 

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes, Cincinnati’s defense swarmed Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen on a snow-slicked field and the Bengals advanced to their second straight AFC championship game with a 27-10 win over the Bills on Sunday.

The Bengals: Travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs next Sunday in a rematch of last year’s AFC championship game.

 

NFC PLAYOFFS

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Christian McCaffrey scored on a go-ahead 2-yard run in the fourth quarter and San Francisco’s defense did the rest, sending the 49ers to their second straight NFC title game with a 19-12 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

 

PHILADELPHIA–The top seeded Eagles were never challenged as they dominated the New York Giants on Saturday 38-7. The Eagles advance to the NFC Championship to play San Francisco on this Sunday after noon at 2 pm in Philadelphia.
