Winter is on its way back to South Central Missouri and North Central Arkansas. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather watch for Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Douglas, Wright, Texas, Shannon, and Carter Counties in Missouri and for Baxter, Fulton, Izard, Stone, and Marion Counties in Arkansas. The watch is in effect from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning. The weather service says that 3 to 6 inches of snow are possible.
