During January dispatch received 379 calls for service. Deputies completed 118 incident reports and completed 20 motor vehicle accident reports. 16 felony cases were filed with the Izard County Circuit Clerks’ office. Deputies also served 56 civil papers. Jail staff booked a total of 113 inmates with a daily average of 42 inmates.
Deputies are dedicated to getting cases solved and working with investigators to get suspects charged. Deputies are remaining proactive in efforts to keep crime rates down. Many times, officers rely on the community for help to be proactive and keep crimes down. Every crime tip is reviewed and will remain anonymous.
