Sunday at approximately 6:35 a.m., Izard County Sheriff’s Office received a message from Stone County Sheriff’s Office about a possible vehicle in White River in Sylamore.
Stone County authorities, along with Arkansas Game Fish Officers, were able to locate a passenger car in the river with a body inside. Sylamore/Allison Fire Department assisted as well.
The vehicle was pulled onto the bank in Izard County. The Arkansas State Police, Izard County Coroner’s Office, along with the agencies previously mentioned are working on the case.
At this time no names or other information is being released.
