
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man from Norwood after a high-speed motorcycle pursuit. 29-year-old Joe Lynn was arrested and resisted attempts to restrain him. He was taken to the Douglas County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold, awaiting a warrant. While attempting to place Mr. Lynn in handcuffs, a deputy sustained an injury to his knee. Upon review of dash cam footage; a Deputy counted at least 35 innocent motorists that were at risk due to Mr. Lynn’s actions.

Lynn has 22 past criminal charges.
The bond is set at $10,000 cash and he remains in custody
