On Sunday, Douglas County Deputies responded to Signal Gas Station in Ava for someone requesting law enforcement and medical assistance. Upon arriving, they spoke with two juveniles who advised that a juvenile female was “car surfing” and fell off the vehicle and sustained injuries to her leg. 43-year-old Jerry Hall, of Mansfield. Was arrested on a warrant for DWI with serious physical injury, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, operating a vehicle without a valid license, operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, and failure to register a motor vehicle. The bond was set at $5000 cash.
