A woman from Batesville was arrested after she allegedly left a minor unsupervised.  23-year-old Alyssa Michelle Hart, is charged with two felony counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor. Batesville police officers were dispatched to the Kroger on St. Louis Street on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 8:10 p.m. concerning a child who had been found walking alone in the roadway at the intersection of St. Louis and College streets. Investigators also discovered another child under Hart’s care had also allegedly been left alone the same night at a local hotel. Hart was arrested and her bond was set at $15,000.
