The Highway Patrol reports that 46-year-old Michael Ray suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Ray was injured when he ran off the road and struck a fence, a building, and a tree. The accident happened on County Road 3400 at U.S. 60 about 200 yards west of Mountain View.
