34-year-old Chad Allen Fry was arrested after authorities received a 9-1-1 call from a woman saying that after the accident a man got out of the vehicle and started cussing at her. When deputies arrived they found the vehicle abandoned. Fry and a female passenger were found hiding in the woods nearby. Fry was not complying with deputies and reached for a weapon he said he had in his pocket. A struggle then took place and Fry was placed in Handcuffs. Once in the patrol vehicle, he continued to be combative, beating on the car windows and doors. Once they arrived at the jail Fry allegedly kicked an officer in the genital area and refused to submit to a chemical test. Fry has been charged with second-degree battery, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and leaving the scene of an accident. His bond was set at $10,000
