23-year-old Cody Dillion Buffington of Poplar Bluff was arrested after a K-9 alerted officers on Buffington’s vehicle and officers found 1.2 grams of meth, a glass smoking device, and a set of digital scales with a white residue on them. Buffington is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He is also charged as a habitual offender. He was taken to the Independence County jail.
