The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office is announcing that 41 year old David White Jr. has been arrested in Oregon, Illinois by the Oregon Police Department and the U. S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force on an outstanding arrest warrant from the Baxter County Circuit Court. The warrant was issued by the court on February 27, 2023 commanding the arrest of White., on three counts of Rape, which are Class Y Felony offenses in Arkansas.
Baxter County authorities believed White to be at a residence in Oregon, Illinois, and arrangements were made with the U. S. Marshal Service and Illinois authorities to attempt service of the warrant at that location. White was arrested Thursday morning, and he has been incarcerated in Illinois awaiting extradition to Baxter County.
The Baxter County Circuit Court issued an Order to Seal the probable cause affidavit and information in this case, and thus no details about the alleged offenses can be disclosed.
