
Heavy rains over the past couple of days have caused flooding along the Spring River in Hardy. Flood warnings continue through Sunday morning for the area. Residents in the City Limits were advised to evacuate their homes on Friday. Several roads in the area have been closed because of flooding, including the Bridges near Town Center in Cherokee Village, Flathead Bridge in Cherokee Village, Stone Creek Road in Hardy, River Road in Hardy, Racoon Springs Road in Cherokee Village, Orr Road in Ash Flat, and Highway 115-117 intersection at Jesup.
A Flood warning remains in effect through Monday Morning for the White River at Batesville. The River was expected to crest at 17 feet which are two feet over flood stage.
