According to reports from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the chase began when a Hoxie Police Officer attempted to make a traffic stop and the vehicle fled from police. The Vehicle was spotted a short time later by a deputy near Portia and the vehicle fled again. The deputy used a pit maneuver and the vehicle crashed and the driver suffered minor injuries. No names have been released at this time.
