Authorities in Marion County are investigating a drowning on the White River. The Sheriff’s Office reports that a boat capsized in the Ranchetta Area around noon on Thursday. According to reports the boat motor ran out of fuel and while the boater attempted to restart the motor, the boat hit the dock. One of the Boaters drowned another swam to shore. No names have been released at this time.
