The Highway Patrol reports that 46-year-old Vironica Croney suffered serious injuries when she fell off the tailgate of a pickup driven by 51-year-old Scott Croney as he was backing up. The pickup then ran over her. Croney was flown to Cox Medical Center in Springfield. The accident happened on County Road FF-328, three miles east of Zanoni.
