A West Plains woman charged with 67 counts of forgery gets a trial date

A West Plains woman who was charged with more than 60 counts of forgery will go to trial in October. Mackenzie Smith faces 67 counts of felony forgery and stealing more than $25,000. She is charged with fraudulent use of a credit or debit device.  She pled not guilty in January. Smith allegedly stole over $51,000 during an 18-month period when she was employed by a local fence company.
